A Sunday Wedding

An outdoor wedding reception near the end of July is not one of the most ideal situations for a cake baker to deal with. However, the weather ended up being great and, after much anticipation, the heat and humidity was actually not bad. So here it is: a white wedding cake with rasberry filling and cream cheese icing. I really love the design the bride came up with for the sides, nice, simple and elegant.

Laptop Computer

My first laptop computer. Well the first one make of cake anyway. I decided to make my friends 30th Birthday special by making him a laptop similar to his macbook. I thought it would only be fun to rename this laptop as the Matt Book since his name is Matt. I am pretty sure he was suprised and loved it. The computer screen had a print out of a computer code make by another friend custom to be a Happy 30th Birthday message to Matt.

Princess Hadley

Here was a fun cake to do for a little princess on her Birthday. What a fun and exciting cake to make for little Hadley on her special day. Needless to say the cake was a hit with all her princess friends.

A cupcake Wedding

OK so this was a wedding I just did with 170 cupcakes. The bride wanted to make it look like a real cake and for the most part I feel it did. This was quite the experience to say the least but worth the effort because they came out great.

Tennis anyone

Here is a tennis racquet which I made for a client just last week. This client did not need a lot of cake for her party so the head of the racquet is the only part which is cake. The handle and arms are made of Styrofoam and covered in fondant. It was a huge hit at the party.

Sponge Bob

A third Birthday is not right without a sponge bob square pants cake. Little Aubree loved this cake and everyone loved to eat it.

A Mother's Day Cake

OK so I am a little late on posting this one but it was a Mother's Day cake I did for a client having a party for her mother and mother-in-law. They thought it was fabulous and loved the taste.
