A Sunday Wedding

An outdoor wedding reception near the end of July is not one of the most ideal situations for a cake baker to deal with. However, the weather ended up being great and, after much anticipation, the heat and humidity was actually not bad. So here it is: a white wedding cake with rasberry filling and cream cheese icing. I really love the design the bride came up with for the sides, nice, simple and elegant.

A cupcake Wedding

OK so this was a wedding I just did with 170 cupcakes. The bride wanted to make it look like a real cake and for the most part I feel it did. This was quite the experience to say the least but worth the effort because they came out great.

A Fortieth Wedding Cake

Here is a cake I made this past weekend for a couple celebrating their fortieth wedding anniversary. The cake was made to be a wedding cake for the couple because from what I understand they did not have a lot when they got married and they don't have any pictures to remember it either. Needless to say it was a hit. Thanks Cynthia for adding the fresh flowers.
